On May 1st, a rare planetary show wll occur in the early morning eastern skies, before the Sun rises.  The show will continue throughout the month of May and into June and consist of Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter.  The thin, crescent waning Moon will also be close on May 1st only.  Uranus is also there, but obviously too dim to see it without the aid of a telescope (especially as the Sun nears the horizon).  This is an opportunity to tune into the energy of the archetype/sign of Aries.

Aries is symbolic of the adopting a cause or mission, self-awareness, spontaneity, agressive play and protection.   Aries is the protector of the cosmic order.   On a broad scale, this conjunction is a powerful synthesis of  bringing attention to directing one’s energy to a cause worth the time and effort.  Its also about giving yourself permission to have fun.  Ask yourself if this worth fighting for?  Is this worth devoting your energy toward?  Is this furthering your own purpose?  When was the last time I had fun or have been spontaneous?

Here is a glimpse of what is in store on the morning of May 1st:  Note that the constellations have the same names as the signs but they are NOT the same as the signs.  The planets are in the constellation of the ‘Fish’, but still named ‘Pisces’ by the astronomical software.
