The month of August begins with Chiron stationing retorgrade on the 3rd before giving way to the first critical preiod of August between the 6th and 12th, which includes the inner planets of Mercury, Venus and Mars shifting to new signs and activating Barbault’s Basket and ending with a Total Solar Eclipse on August 12th in Leo.
The Aug 12 eclipse is primarily about a rise in new leadership and perhaps even new leaders as it carries in the Jupiter in Leo transit already taking place. At the same time, it is opens the lanes for any leaders, idealogies and movements to complete and give way for the new. Any toxic or unhealthy ways are meant to be let go of.
As we get into the middle to late period of August, another wave comes in with a Venus-Saturn opposition on the 21st and the Sun’s ingress into Virgo on the 22nd. But it kicks into high gear starting on the 25th with Mercury in Virgo, a Venus-Eris opposition on the 26th and the 2nd eclipse a Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on the 27th.
This Lunar Eclipse is more about the shadow of our dreams while realizing we are in-between times (beginning and end at the same time). This eclipse supports the greater desire to merge with the divine and be of service in the world. Another layer of it is a celebration and exchange of energies in collaboration and connection with community and our kindred spirits.
The month of August ends with a Jupiter-Saturn fire trine, the beginning of a pivitol period in the 20-year cycle of Juptier and Saturn. The fiery energy will be high and active and we may be able to get more done during the trine period that goes on until July 2027.
