2023 begins with Mars still retrograde in Gemini, following the 3rd exact hit of the US Pluto Return. In late February and March, a potent Aries stellium forms from Chiron, Jupiter, Vesta and an Eris-Venus conjunction.

Around the same time, Saturn ingresses into the sign of Pisces on March 7th and Pluto later that month crosses into Aquarius. Jupiter spends the first 4 1/2 months of 2023 in the sign of Aries before ingressing into the sign of Taurus on May 16th.

This year will also feature 4 retrograde periods of Mercury and all in Earth signs, except the last one in December, 2023 that results in Sagittarius on January 1, 2024.

There is Venus and Mars get together (but no exact conjunction) in June/July and Venus spends 4 months in Leo with its heliacal rise on August 20th. Eclipse seasons take place in April/May and the seocnd one in October, incuding an Annular eclipse in the US. On July 17th, the Lunar Nodes shift back into Aries/Libra as well. A new Vesta synodic cycle begins in December to end the year.
